A mentor once told me, “The most fulfilling thing you can do in the world is encourage others – more literally, give others courage.” Teaching yoga is my vehicle to lift others up, encourage compassion, and develop mindfulness that I believe can heal the world. I found yoga while working in Washington, DC at a high-pressure sales job. The yoga studio was my haven to counterbalance stress and gain a little piece of my Self back.
As a previous dancer and dance instructor, it was natural for me to join the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Studio DC in 2014 with master teachers like Bryan Kest and Krishna Das. Since then, I’ve taught yoga around the country from Boston to Los Angeles. My husband brought us to Wine Country in 2016 and I am so grateful to be surrounded by natural beauty sharing the unshakeable truths embedded in yoga.
